FROM WASTE TO bio-TEXTILE.
AMAVSS* is a material research practice focused on biodegradable composites and regenerative and circular futures for the fashion and textile sector.
Re-thinking and re-purposing waste like food residues, human hair or collagen derived from bones — matter that is usually overlooked becomes the central core of making and imagining new design principles.
Each piece is crafted from bio-based materials made with natural polymers derived from fish bones and/or dried food-waste powders.
Every pendant is hand-cast, slowly dried over several days, individually polished, and finished with a non-toxic protective coating that makes it water-resistant.
No two pieces are alike.
